Competition is just around the corner! Now that DS' party is over I can focus on my training and diet. So far I'm hanging onto 117lbs (give or take a lb). I know I'm losing body fat because my abs are really defined and my muscles are popping out all over. I still think I'm pretty lean. 117lbs isn't a lot for a 5'6" frame. I guess we'll see what happens when I get onstage. I tried to eat more but then I lost my abs (major spill over) and felt sick and full all the time.
I need to make a few changes in my diet: 1. add more fat on my low calorie days 2. decrease the protein just a bit (180g is a lot for my weight) 3. add a refeed day. So tomorrow is carb coma day (refeed day!). I can't wait. My fat will be down, protein around 120g and carbs HIGH!! My body is going to LOVE it! The goal of refeeding is to help restore the body and shock it to lose more weight. Sounds contradictory: eat more calories, and more carbs to lose weight? ... Yep! And it works when you're on a strict diet for a long time.
Pictures to come. I'm going to try to get some professional shots done this weekend so I can submit them at registration.
